Made in Tel Aviv by Urban Outlines

King George Street was originally called "HaCarmel" Street. In 1935, in celebration of 25 years of King George V reign over the United Kingdom, half of the street was named after him, in honor of his patronage that led to the announcement of the Balfour Declaration, stating that the United Kingdom would support the establishment of a national home for Jews in the land of Israel. The second half of the street is still called HaCarmel Street, where the famous Carmel market is located. Metsudat Zeev, or Jabotinsky House (middle), is an office tower located on King George Street, named after Zeev Jabotinsky, founder of the Revisionist Zionism. The tower was built on the ruins of the shack that served as the Revisionists headquarters in the 30's, and was secretly also the meeting place for the IZL resistance warriors.
