These three words have become both our philosophy and motto, by encompassing the process of salvaging and recycling out-of-use iconic objects directly into charming new timepieces. Stated differently; from ‘wreck’ to ‘REC’. These objects are not picked randomly, but are rather handpicked for the history and values that they represent. As such, each and every REC Watch will not only have an individual story to tell through its components previous life, but also be visibly unique in its appearance due to the aesthetic and raw look of the handmade components. Further, by investigating and conveying the specific history of a given object to the new owner of a REC Watch, we believe that we preserve and inject each timepiece with a little piece of the recycled objects very spirit. Our first collection is based entirely on the classic Morris Mini, a design icon and symbol of the 60’s to this day, of which we are proud to present the first ten watch models."
